Private Client and Charities Solicitor - 6 years’+ PQE
Maclay Murray & Spens are currently recruiting a Private Client and Charities Solicitor at the 6 years’+ level to join the team in Glasgow, although for the right candidate Edinburgh would be considered. You will enjoy working in a highly productive environment where you will gain exposure to high quality work and have opportunities to develop. You will deal with a wide variety of private client work including Trust Administration, Succession Planning, Executry Administration (including complex and contentious executries), Charity Law and Wills/Powers of Attorney. You will also be responsible for the supervision of more junior solicitors. For this role both Scots and English qualified candidates will be considered.
Private Client and Charities Solicitor - 3 years’+ PQE
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing firms Private Client & Charities team. You should have at least 3 years’ PQE in Private Client and will be based in Glasgow. You will deal with a wide variety of private client work including Trust Administration, Succession Planning, Executry Administration (including complex and contentious executries), Charity Law and Wills/Powers of Attorney. You will have a proven ability within Private Client, to work effectively both individually and as part of a dynamic team. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work to tight deadlines within a commercially driven environment.
Each of these positions requires the successful candidate to have the relevant post qualified private client experience. Also, the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates would be preferable but is not essential.
