Contentious Construction Solicitor, Edinburgh or Glasgow
This role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow and would suit candidates with between 2 – 7 years’ PQE in this area.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of work including contentious claims and insurance disputes across a range of formal dispute proceedings including mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration.

Construction Professional Indemnity – Glasgow
The role will be based in Glasgow; however, the firm are open to candidates in Edinburgh with the expectation they would travel to Glasgow when required.
The successful candidate will work alongside a Partner and Senior Associate and with specialist professional risk teams across the country, predominantly in the defence of high value and complex claims against professionals.
To be considered for this position you should be at the NQ – 2 years’ PQE level with experience of professional indemnity claims and/or contentious construction and engineering issues. Strong knowledge in Sheriff Court and Court of sessions procedure is essential with previous experience of construction or insurance being desirable.

Junior Construction Solicitor – Edinburgh
You will join a market leading team and will deliver proactive, commercially focused advice with in-depth experience across a full spectrum of businesses from start-ups to listed companies.
This is a varied and interesting role where you will advise on a range of construction projects, building and engineering contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties and the construction aspects of agreements for lease, development agreements and funding agreements.
To be considered for this position you should be at the NQ – 2 years’ PQE level and have transactional construction experience. A newly qualified solicitor who gained relevant construction experience during their traineeship would also be considered. (Assignment 13821)
Contentious Construction – Edinburgh
We are delighted to be supporting our client, an independent Scottish law firm, on its recruitment of a qualified solicitor to its construction practice in Edinburgh. The work is contentious, and interested candidates should be well-versed in Housing Grants, Construction & Regeneration Act 1996, the Scheme for Construction Contracts (Scotland) Regulations.
The firm is open to level of PQE from 1 to 10 years’, and ideally should have experience in this area of the law. However, candidates with civil/commercial litigation experience, who are looking to specialise in construction, are encouraged to apply.

Construction Solicitor (Contentious & Non-Contentious) – Edinburgh
The ideal candidate will be at the NQ – 3 level PQE with previous experience of contentious/non-contentious construction and engineering matters. 2023 qualifiers would also be considered. You will advise on all aspects of legal construction matters, from institutional and market expectations to strategic advice on procurement and contentious aspects of projects during and after the completion of a project.
This is a full-time position which will primarily be based in Edinburgh; however, the role will require working closely with the Glasgow and Belfast offices in particular as well as working with the other offices across the UK.
