This specialist litigation firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its busy Employment Team in Glasgow.  You will join a highly regarded team and the main focus of the role is to advise clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters including employer negligence, grievance matters, settlements, employment contracts, policies, and redundancy programmes.

The successful candidate can expect to represent claimant and respondent clients in Employment Tribunal cases. Your key tasks will include:

  • Responsibility for all Employment Tribunal proceedings including drafting pleadings, taking witness statements and appearances at the Employment Tribunal.
  • Managing a diverse caseload of contentious employment work and operating a sophisticated case management system.
  • Responsibility for all client communications.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE level, ideally with employment law experience. Previous experience of risk management would also be beneficial.
