We have been instructed on this new Senior Personal Injury role with our client, a successful Law Firm specialising in accident claims. The firm is currently seeking a Senior Solicitor to join its busy Team in Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will handle their own diverse caseload of complex and high value cases including RTA, EL/PL and vehicle and hire claims. Key tasks will involve:

  • Supervising a team of solicitors managing RTA, EL/PL, injury, vehicle damage, and hire claims.
  • Overseeing complex and high-value cases.
  • Ensuring adherence to Scottish civil litigation rules and pre-action protocols.
  • Providing expertise on liability, causation, and quantum assessments.
  • Negotiating settlements with insurers and opposing solicitors.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with a strong litigation background, as well as a good understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court procedures. Previous experience of credit hire is also desirable.
