Our client, a financial law firm, is currently recruiting an Associate to join its growing Corporate team based in Guernsey. You will play an active role in the day to day running of corporate matters and business development activities, under supervision of a Partner or Senior Associate.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the client contact point on any allocated matter
  • Obtain clear instructions from clients, provide legal advice and prepare relevant documentation for Partner review
  • Ensure administrative tasks are completed on each matter in accordance with required internal procedures

To be considered for this opportunity you will have up to 4 years’ pqe with trainee experience gained in one or more of the practices of corporate law, banking & finance, investment funds and financial services. You will have a proven ability to grasp complex legal information in order to provide sound legal advice as well as strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and work autonomously.
