We are working on an exciting new role with our client, an international Law Firm with offices worldwide. The firm is expanding its newly established practice in Glasgow and is seeking to recruit an Associate specialising in professional indemnity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a varied and interesting caseload including:

  • Providing strategic advice to professional clients and their insurers on case management, claims approach, and cost reserves.
  • Managing high-value, complex claims from initial policy assessment through to resolution.
  • Creating clear, concise reports for insurers, with the ability to explain and provide guidance on challenging and complex issues.
  • Overseeing the Insurer/Insured relationship, maintaining awareness of potential conflicts.
  • Tracking key dates and ensuring adherence to service level agreements with insurers.
  • Preparing thoroughly for court cases across all judicial levels.

The firm is seeking candidates with at least 4 years of PQE, though there may be some flexibility for the right person if they have a strong litigation background.
