This leading international law firm is currently recruiting a TMT Associate to join its growing team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is a permanent position suitable for lawyers with between 2 – 7 years’ PQE level.
The role involves advising on a broad range of non-contentious matters, including commercial and technology contracts, outsourcing, intellectual property, and data privacy. The successful candidate will also support transactions by drafting commercial sections of due diligence reports and negotiating warranties and indemnities.
Applicants should have strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, along with experience advising sophisticated clients on complex matters. An interest in technology and understanding of how businesses use and implement tech solutions is essential. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives, as well as to deliver client seminars and training.
