We have been instructed on a new role with our client, a recognised Scottish firm. The firm currently seeks a Newly Qualified solicitor to join its highly regarded Banking & Finance team on a full-time basis in Edinburgh.

You will support the team in a wide range of transactional and banking advisory work, including project finance, real estate finance, and corporate funding. Key tasks will include:

  • Providing advice to clients on banking issues, including drafting, and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, and legal opinions for various types of financing.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing documents for client advice or broader publication.
  • Managing transactional projects and collaborating with other practice areas on multi-disciplinary matters.
  • Delivering focused, level-appropriate training internally.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about banking work and commercially and profit focused. While some general banking experience is preferred, it is not essential, as additional training will be provided as needed.
