Our client is currently recruiting a Contracts Lawyer to join its growing in-house team in Glasgow.

This position offers the opportunity to advise on, draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with a focus on technology-related agreements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Central Procurement and Contracts (CPC) team, supporting procurement, contracting, and supplier management activities across multiple business functions, including IT, information security, facilities, HR, business development, finance, and the General Counsel’s office. The role also involves providing strategic legal advice on technology-related matters, including digital transformation projects, AI, software licensing, managed services, and data protection.

The ideal candidate will be Scottish qualified with at least 5 years’ PQE in an IT or commercial contracts role, either in-house or in private practice within a well-established organisation. Experience in technology contracts, intellectual property, data protection, confidentiality, and information security are highly desirable. Strong contract drafting, commercial awareness, and the ability to provide pragmatic legal solutions are essential.
