This Scottish litigation Firm is seeking an additional Lawyer to join its busy Defender Insurance Team in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team, managing a varied caseload primarily focused on pre-litigated and litigated disease claims, motor/fraud cases, employer liability (EL), public liability (PL) claims, and supporting high-value, complex claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a team to provide a comprehensive range of legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Focus on personal injury cases, including EL/PL, disease, and motor claims.
  • Support the Team Manager and Partners with case management, client development, training sessions, networking activities, and occasional public speaking engagements.
  • Maintain compliance with management information (MI) procedures.
  • Meet established financial and chargeable performance targets.

The team is particularly interested in candidates at the NQ – 3 PQE level with experience managing the defence of EL/PL casualty claims. While prior experience with disease, fraud, or motor claims is desirable, it is not essential.
