We have been instructed on this exciting In-House role with a leading technology organisation. The company has a strong presence in the public sector and social impact initiatives and is looking to expand its well-established Legal Team in Glasgow.

The role focuses on supporting transactions with UK and Ireland-based customers, with a particular emphasis on commercial contracts. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on legal risks and strategies for disputes and claims with commercial customers, partners, and consumers.
  • Supporting contract review and negotiation for hardware, services, and software deals with enterprise and public sector clients across HP’s portfolio.
  • Reviewing global templates, programs, new offerings, and Go-To-Market initiatives in collaboration with legal colleagues.

Candidates without direct experience in commercial contracts, but with experience in competition law, dispute resolution, or consumer law, are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ PQE, a strong academic record, and commercial awareness. Experience in drafting and negotiating sales or software transactions is also desirable. The organisation will accept applications from Scots or English qualified lawyers.
