Junior Associate, Healthcare – Edinburgh / Glasgow (Assignment 16708)

Our client, a top-ranked Scottish legal practice specialising in clinical negligence and product liability, is recruiting for an additional Lawyer to join its highly regarded Healthcare Team in either its Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The firm represents major indemnifiers, insurers, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.

The role involves managing a caseload of abuse and healthcare claims. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, with a strong commitment to client service and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in healthcare claims is desirable but not required. The team is interested in hearing from candidates at the NQ-5 PQE level.

Personal Injury Solicitor – Glasgow / Edinburgh (Assignment 16687)

An established UK law firm is currently recruiting a Junior Solicitor to join its top-ranked Personal Injury team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The purpose of this role is to support the team in defending a wide range of personal injury claims on behalf of leading insurer clients, covering motor, employer’s liability, and public liability cases, with the potential to handle disease claims based on experience. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to assist senior team members on more complex and higher-value cases.

The ideal candidate for this position will have 1-4 years’ PQE and some experience in court appearance work. You will be responsible for preparing and conducting contentious hearings on your own cases, as well as assisting the claims handling team. Essential skills include strong client care abilities, a team-oriented approach, and a high level of initiative, motivation, and attention to detail in both legal and reporting aspects.

Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss – Edinburgh / Glasgow (Assignment 16652)

Our client, a prominent Law Firm is seeking a Lawyer to join its Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team in either its Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. The team specialises in high-value personal injury claims, offering legal services from policy coverage to litigation. The role involves regular client communication across the UK and provides a collaborative, flexible work environment. While personal injury experience is preferred, candidates with relevant civil litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates will be at the NQ-3 level PQE, highly organised, adaptable, and interested in complex legal challenges. Responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with the team, mainly representing insurance companies and self-insured businesses.
• Managing a diverse caseload and frequently appearing in Sheriff Court.

Senior In-House Regulation Lawyer – Edinburgh (Assignment 16623)

Our client, a leading professional body representing over 13,000 solicitors is seeking a Disciplinary Proceedings Manager to oversee a team managing conduct complaints and disciplinary cases. This role is based in Edinburgh and involves managing a team that handles conduct complaints brought before the independent Professional Conduct Sub-committee (PCSC) or the Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal (SSDT).

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Scottish lawyer with a minimum of 7 years’ PQE. You should have strong expertise in litigation (preferably civil) and/or regulatory proceedings, along with proven leadership skills.

In-House Litigation Solicitor – Ayrshire / Hybrid (Assignment 15597)

We have been instructed on this unique in-house role with our client with our client, a highly regarded organisation specialising in debt and consumer arrears. There is currently a need for a qualified solicitor to join its busy Legal team on a full-time basis in Ayrshire.

The post-holder can expect to be involved in a range of litigation matters including managing cases of complex disputes, mitigate costs and protecting the reputation of the company. You can also expect to work closely with other stakeholders within the business, as well as customers, legal representatives and third parties of all stages of the litigation process, ensuring positive outcomes through negotiation.

The team is keen to hear from those with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE, and candidate must have some experience in debt recovery or civil litigation. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to move in-house; the team also supports hybrid working with an expectation of 3 days office presence per week.

Senior Dispute Resolution & Risk Lawyer (Strategic Risk Government & Compliance) – Edinburgh (Assignment 16569)

This leading UK law firm is currently recruiting a senior Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its Risk, Government & Compliance team in Edinburgh. The team advises UK commercial clients across sectors on compliance, regulatory law, corporate crime, and investigations.

Responsibilities include drafting legal advice, conducting investigations, court representation, and client relationship development. Key areas covered include anti-bribery, environmental law, health and safety, financial crime, and corporate compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ PQE and a genuine interest in regulatory and corporate criminal law. Qualification to practise in England and Wales is desirable but not essential.
