Our client, a leading international firm in Glasgow, is seeking an additional Lawyer to join its Property Damage Team. This role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload, including Pursuer and Defender work in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, as well as arbitrations and mediations. While most of the team is based in Glasgow, location is flexible.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary contact for clients regarding Scottish claims, showcasing extensive expertise and proficiency.
  • Supporting the Partner in overseeing paralegals and trainee solicitors.
  • Aiding the Partner in managing client accounts and identifying business development opportunities.

To be considered for this position, you will ideally be at the NQ-2 years’ PQE level. However, the team will also consider applications from second-year trainees nearing the end of their training contract. The successful candidate will have experience in general commercial litigation, along with demonstrable experience in managing a varied caseload in the Scottish courts.
